Erythrin is a protein (abbreviated as Hb or HGB) responsible for transporting oxygen in higher organisms. It is a protein that causes the blood to turn red. Hemoglobin is composed of four chains, two α Chain and two β Chain, each chain has a cyclic heme containing one iron atom. Oxygen binds to iron atoms and is transported by the blood. The characteristics of hemoglobin are: in areas with high oxygen content, it is easy to combine with oxygen; In areas with low oxygen content, it is easy to separate from oxygen. This characteristic of hemoglobin enables red blood cells to transport oxygen.
Clinical significance-The physiological and pathological variations of hemoglobin are roughly the same as those of red blood cells. However, the decrease in red blood cells and hemoglobin may not necessarily have a parallel relationship in various types of anemia.
1. Physiological increase
Newborns, plateau residents, etc.
2. Pathological increase
True polycythemia, dehydration caused by various reasons, congenital heart disease, pulmonary heart disease, etc.
3. Reduction
Various types of anemia (such as aplastic anemia, iron deficiency anemia, sideroblastic anemia, megaloblastic anemia, hemolytic anemia, thalassemia, etc.), massive blood loss (such as traumatic bleeding, surgical bleeding, postpartum bleeding, acute gastrointestinal bleeding, chronic blood loss caused by ulcers, etc.), leukemia, postpartum, chemotherapy, hookworm disease, etc.
Hemoglobin analyzer
Micro blood sampling: Only one drop of whole blood sample is required to complete the test
Speed and precision: fast detection and reading of results; The results are accurate and have a good correlation with the ICSH reference method
Quantitative detection: directly display the hemoglobin content and hematocrit in the body
Convenient operation: No need for manual calibration, different test strips can automatically change codes with the CODE card
Data transmission: Data transmission function can be equipped according to customer needs.
